How does it work?

  • Smart Social Proof is powered by DataMilk’s real-time data pipelines. We use sophisticated data engineering to continually monitor how many people are on the page.
  • Your team can configure the minimum and maximum number of viewers to display and exclude certain products. We also give customers control over the style, look and feel, text, and animation. Contact your Customer Success Manager to facilitate any of these requests.

What is the logic behind Smart Social Proof and is this real data?

  • Yes, Smart Social Proof aggregates real visitors' data to serve the counters.

  • The number of page views is calculated over a two hour window and is calculated every hour. 

  • DataMilk AI layers on top only showing the component when it thinks it will optimize for revenue/gross profit based on session signals. So, it may or may not show during a user's session.
